I really don't get this naive misconception that teachers have no lives outside of their jobs and no depth as human beings that the anons have going on.. I think it's great that you have your own life outside of what you do. That you indulge yourself in your passions and what you enjoy and still retain your professionalism and exceed expectations in your field. That's wonderful! You keep your personal life separate from your profession, and as long as you keep doing that what you do with your free time is completely irrelevant and senseless to judge you about. I admire you, and I think what you're doing is great. Keep it up and stay happy!
